The Midterm Key

The governor’s race, not the mayor’s. This page is the 2026 lock. The site remains the 2029 book. Blakeman did not write it. The book dies in Albany without him.

Superior attitude. Superior political platform. Superior state of mind.

New York does not have an ideas problem. It has a permission problem. The city can draw the campuses. The city cannot clear the rezone, the air, the bond, or the power by itself. That door is in Albany. Kathy Hochul has had the door. She kept it shut. Bruce Blakeman is the only candidate this November who will open it.

Here is the abundance. Not a slogan. A book that balances.

Thirteen and a half billion dollars in. Thirteen and a half billion dollars out. Ten years.

In: four billion redirected from shelter we are already budgeting. Two billion from a host share on a casino that is already licensed. Two and a half billion from Washington, paid only when the units are finished. Two billion from air rights, sold to developers, after one citywide rezone on ten campuses. Three billion from a social income bond, borrowed against those same contracts so we start in year one.

Out: one and a third billion for a housing stipend tied to work, school, or an apprenticeship. Six hundred and fifty million for the harbor, desal, oysters, and power we buy from the nukes that already run upstate. Three point nine billion to pay the bond back, interest included. Seven point six billion for about fifteen thousand homes.

That is the book. It is not allowed to go red. If a sale misses, the unit count drops the same month. Unsold air is zero. ArkHalo builds what the map sold. It does not mint floors a council member never voted.

The seventy-eight billion dollar repair hole in public housing stays off this book. Ten years of this machine covers about ten percent of it. Run the same machine three times and you are at about thirty percent in thirty years. The rest needs a governor who will let the second wave and the third wave happen. Member deference kills those waves one campus at a time. One rezone, voted once, and the member does not get a second veto.

People will call this easy money. It is not. A rezone is permission. Developers pay only for floors that still profit after construction, inclusionary housing, and interest. What is easy is the choke. One no in Albany, and the air is never offered for sale.

The harbor works the same way. Desal offshore. Oysters. A reef only after the leach test. Micro nuclear only on the desal deck, and only if the federal permit clears. Nothing under the boroughs. Nothing in the reservoirs. Gas, if it is drilled at all, only on a map the water engineers swear is off the taps. Hochul is in court defending the ban that keeps every one of those molecules outside the state. Blakeman is the only one running who has said that ban does not feed a single New York family.

I am not on the ballot this November. The mayor’s election is November 6, 2029. I am the city half of this offer. Draft mayor. The state half is this midterm. Without a governor who will sign the rezone, enforce the casino covenant, and keep the watershed closed while the power gets built, the thirteen and a half billion is a pamphlet.

Build the buildings. Close the magnet. Make the harbor work.

Bruce Blakeman is the only way through Albany. I am asking you to give him the key, and to hold me to the book in 2029.
